Karen Mulhauser

Karen is a powerhouse leader and dynamic women’s champion. Her consulting career spans over 6 decades. She established Mulhauser and Associates in 1988. She is the original founder of the former Women’s Information Network started in 1989. She founded Consulting Women in 1990 and still manages its network of over 1000 self-employed women in D.C. Prior to consulting, Karen served as Executive Director of the Center for Education on Nuclear War, Citizens Against Nuclear War, and NARAL Prochoice America. While with Seattle Planned Parenthood, Karen was a family planning personnel trainer for federally funded clinics in WA, OR, ID, and AK. She has since served on over 35 nonprofit boards and organized electoral activities during every election cycle since the 1970s. Karen has a Bachelor’s in Biology from Antioch College in Ohio.
